Yesterday's breakfast was eggs and bacon.
Lunch was orange chicken with chow mein.
Dinner was nachos.

So much for those ten pounds.

One day does not a diet kill. Chin up, as today is another day. *hug*

Yeah, I know. It's just that any progress seems to be a herculean, if not sisyphean, task, and any time you slip up it's "Well that piece of cake has about 2349234 calories, all of it fat and sugar. So on your current regimen you should have offset that in about three months. Please don't eat any food between now and then."

Plus, I made the mistake of not skipping 'Mortal City' when it came up on my playlist. Plus, the intarwebs have been chokey and difficult since the power outage yesterday. I don't think they're linked, it's just a handy bookmark.
I think I'll move to Australia.

Do not move to Austrailia, as it is getting more and more difficult to get a drink of water there. ;-)

I concur with the previous comment. (But do NOT cut and paste your reply to her as a reply to this comment. I find that practice insulting to those who spend the time to comment.) How well are you working with portion size on items you are "not supposed" to eat? Cutting back on quantity will help with the cravings for fatty foods, but without busting those new pants you bought.

Portions are doing okay. Not great. The eggs were yolkless. Lunch was bigger than it needed to be--it was also faster than I would have preferred, because of an afternoon meeting. Eating slower means noticing when you're full before you're too full.

And I would not have cut and pasted since the Australia remark indicated that you'd read the comment already.
