Growing up in fear and panic; Bang! Nine automatic.

So today was not the best day. Stayed busy at work, things were going by pretty quickly. This is a good thing. Around four, I was in the middle of a rental and realized I couldn't make the words on the paper focus. I smoothly and professionally passed the rental on to Karsten (Or, as known by his Rapper Name, Special K) and went back to put the rental in a garment bag and say 'what the hell?'
Within half an hour, my vision was clouded--everything was covered with a milky gauze. This was when I got completely terrified. It didn't get any worse, at least. Just about the time I got that familiar stabbing pain behind my right eye, my vision started to clear. I was still full of adrenaline and more or less a basket case, but at least I could say 'this is why it happened, and it's only temporary'.
I've never had a migraine do that to me before, but I've heard people describe it as a symptom. By the time I got home from work, I only had the usual symptoms to deal with--dizziness, asymetrical head pain and nausea. I managed to get dinner cooked before Ellie showed up, though. And it was good not to be in the house alone, and I was considerably less freaked out. Thanks, nice Ellie!

i know some one who gets migraines that cause one eyeball to sweel up so much they started looking for a tumor behind the eye........
