No, the Democratic Party has said that Florida's presidential delegates won't be seated at the convention. Which means that fewer Democratic voters will turn out to vote, because the only thing most voters care about is voting for president. Which means that voting on the other items on the ballot (in my state, this included several initiatives and some local measures) cants toward the conservative. And then something like this happens, which cants the vote even further because in some states certain people who are in charge of the elections feel that certain other people should be 'strongly discouraged'.
Right...I knew that about the convention and such...I was just making a crack about elections past. Perhaps I should have said, "I thought the Democrats were evicted from Florida back in 2000".
Oh! Oh, yes! That would have been the funny, there. (: I get it now! Sorry, I'm used to dealing with... other sorts of folks when I talk about politics.
