The End of an Era

Okay, some of you may remember the webcomic that I annoyingly wouldn't stop pimping just because I thought it was fun and also maybe I was creatively involved.
Well, this is my last chance to pimp it, and your last chance to see what might have been. The first episode of Series 2 (the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang of Paranormals, if you will) has been posted, and will likely be the last episode posted. I don't know how long these will be up, so if you are interested you should stop by now.

It is a good comic, and sad that it will be going away. The part I don't like is it may make a good friend move far away.

Growing up here I've had more of that than I like.

Where the hell is the Bay Area going? Are we soon going to be the kind of place where only the wealthy live in decent areas and those who work for the wealthy will live in (slightly expanded) slums? Forget local artists and musicians because they will go where they can afford to practice their art. Goodbye culture of any type.

Sorry for the rant in your comment section, but this ha started to really bug me. I'm tired of seeing most of my friends just "scraping by."

I guess it doesn't seem so unusual to me, because I grew up in a town where people came, stayed for a few years, and then wandered off. Transient community was the default.
