So SciFi channel finally broadcast the two-hour Dresden Files premier they recorded (rumor has it, had to record due to some sort of contract with European markets).
Thirteen months after they broadcast the show.
At three in the morning.
And exactly half way through, in the middle of the actual program, Comcast (I assume) performed their weekly Emergency Alert System test.

I suppose the test could have been in the last two minutes of the show instead.

They didn't exactly go out of their way to publicize it.

I can't tell if they were just acting like resentful four year olds or genuinely ashamed of the entire thing.

The series wasn't *that* bad...
That was not a response from an rp journal. You saw nothing. XD

No, the series wasn't that bad. But SciFi executives have proven repeatedly that they smoke the *bad* crack and generally make programming decisions by picking scrabble tiles out of a hat.

The only reason I knew anything about it was because the Jim Butcher LJ group mentioned it on Friday afternoon. Apparently they were too busy pimping "Ogre", the made-for-SciFi-original, to run any advertising.
