The PEERS May event is a 1930s Chicago jazz-stravaganza with performance by Lee Press on and the Nails. Lee is the bee's knees, and I'd be there just for him. With bells on, natch!

I went to Siegel's for my zoot suit, I got the tailcoat at Dickens Faire, and... I think I had the frock coat tailored for me by Satin & Shadow. I know I got to choose the buttons...
You're probably going to have it a bit easier because you're more conventionally shaped. And none of my stuff is actually *vintage*. It's all 'vintage look' but modern manufacture, because 100 year old clothing is too delicate for me to pay a lot of money for. (:
