So it's April Second now. But I have to say that a day without sarcasm, without irony, without linguistic trickery or couched phrasing was pretty liberating. It filled me with a sense of inner warmth.
I'm thinking I may have to take it up full time, just to maintain that glow.

I'm sure the glow will make you quite happy until someone/something comes along to take advantage of your lowered defenses, after which you will go "Why? Why did I ever give up sarcasm?"
