Date: 2008-04-09 08:12 pm (UTC)Happens to me a lot, too. Barbara Kingsolver's Animal Dreams, I start out dead. There was a Star Trek book (original series) that had an Ensign Hallie. Dead 2/3rds of the way in. The movie Scream 2, college roommate Hallie dies during the massive bodycount accumulation portion of the film.
The only time Hallie has ever survived was the remake of The Parent Trap. An actual reason to be grateful for Lindsay Lohan. :)
