Every year I see the influx of BayCon squeeing and go, "Oh yeah--BayCon. I should go some year." Then I never go. This year I have an even better excuse than usual.
I like your excuse. (: This will be my first year as a member of BayCon, pretty much just signing on for the LARP. I'm sure there are lots of fun and exciting things that happen there, I just am ignorant of them.
I have, in fact, been known to LARP. I've toyed with the idea of a LARP wedding, if I ever stray down that path. (I've already LARPed a wedding so this one would just have some extra paperwork, and perhaps fewer demons.) I believe that my calendar for a two month period a year from now might have a couple of holes in it. (:
