Pretty good weekend, even if it was way too damned hot.
Happy birthday Miss Friday.
I've started reading Dogs in the Vineyard (RPG about Keepers of the Faith in the nineteenth century West), and that's really engaging. Although, as usual, I want to see it played by somebody who knows what they're doing first. q:
I'm a third of the way through Cory Doctorow's new novel and although I fear I will not live up to my promise of having it read before it gets released (tomorrow!) I will say now that I was emotionally impacted by the scenes of a post-terrorist-attack San Francisco and am taking free time where I can to chew through it.

Today is much cooler than yesterday, highs only in the seventies. Which is good because I'm planning on riding my bike to work every day this week but Friday. Because it's been three weeks since I've been on a bike and I have no concept of restraint or ramping up into things.

Come play Dogs with me & Carl R. sometime -- Carl being the one running it. He is awesome, and we can never find enough people to play. Or, failing that, way in the distant Octobery future maybe you can come up to Oakland and watch a bunch of people play it and then decide what you think, but it'd be quicker to try it in June!
