Quick heat blast predicted for our neighborhood, into the nineties, peaking on Thursday and becoming tolerable again just in time for the weekend.
I'm hoping this is going to be like last summer, where there was a spate of inhospitable weather very early and then the rest of the summer was more pleasant.

I confess it, there is truth to that.
Once I am fabulously wealthy and can leave when the weather gets crappy or the politics gets stupid, I'll have to look into it.

Yes, but here we don't have air conditioning in houses (often), because people don't really think about how it, you know, gets hot all the time.
