Smells Like Teen Mechanism

Today's report: The Antikythera Mechanism.

In the bottle: .....sort of cologne-y. The site says "Teakwood, oak, black vanilla, and tobacco." I think I'm getting some teak and oak.
The vanilla comes out more when I wear it. I wanted to really like this one, and I don't dislike it but I'm not crazy about it yet. Like most BPAL, it fades fast.

Really? I'm finding that my BPAL samples are lasting forever.. like two days with showers and everything. This is wonderful for the fragrances I like. It's less wonderful for the ones that I strongly dislike.

Must be a peculiarity of my chemistry.

This is true, I should have made the caveat 'like most BPAL on me'. But yeah, it fades pretty quickly on me, for the most part.
