cyranoIf I haven't found a job in the next two weeks (God. Please.) then I'm scheduled for a FrameMaker class, to make me more tasty for techwriting positions. Cindy suggested it and it sounded like a good idea.
Last night we took Tony to Bound for his birthday--I think he actually had fun. He even danced. At first I thought I was just shopping and loaning him stuff, but none of my gear was acceptible and suddenly I was in the car and getting dressed for clubbing.
He found this cool o-ring vest, like very large gauge chainmail, at Leather Master, which looked very nice over his foofy purple FLtD shirt. General opinion seemed to be that it would look better without the shirt, but he'll have to be eased into that I think.
Mom called, and we got to talk a little. Apparently there are still jobs sorting potatoes back home if it turns completely sour here. It's always good to have options. (:
