Smilers never lose
Aug. 12th, 2008 03:35 pmThe upside of the stereo adventure is that there's a plug for an 'Auxilliary' lead on the stereo. I think this means that if I can find a cord that fits that plug and one of the two plugs on my mp3 player then I can play the mp3 player on the stereo.
(It also means that my desire for new speakers goes on the serious back burners at this point, as well as a few other ancillary expenditures. Fingers crossed for me that my window is cheap to fix, everybody?)

Date: 2008-08-12 11:50 pm (UTC)And I'm pretty sure that the car, the stereo and the mp3 player will all need to be on. But still, that's cool!

Date: 2008-08-13 12:01 am (UTC)You are correct, all elements will need to be on to use.
If you would like, I can come over with my Big Bag 'O Cords & Plugs and find out what you need.
The only downside to mp3 in car is making sure you have enough music to get to your destination once you hit play. Futzing with the player while driving is worse than using a cell phone.
Why is the world full of pig fuckers?

Date: 2008-08-13 03:27 pm (UTC)This weekend is absolutely insane, and I have no idea when I will have any free time, however. q:
(And the reason I started listening to CDs instead of the radio was so that I wouldn't have to futz with the player while I was driving. I'm pretty paranoid about looking away from the road for that long.)
