I don't remember if I ever made an official announcement about this, but just so y'all know, my company got acquired/merged. It's now public, so I can say the words out loud. It's supposed to be official next week. It looks like I'm not getting laid off, and things will probably continue about like they have.

I had speculated that the company was going out of business based on a previous post.

Things were a little up in the air.
But our new corporate overlords are markedly good with communication, something that isn't always of high value in a merger, and that's helped a lot.
