Big mailing just went out. Those of you expecting copies of the Dresden Files pilot, I finally got them posted.
Y'all are expensive. It's a good thing you're worth it.

I'm thinking about doing NNWM again this year. Because I'm insane.
Trying to think of story ideas.

I'm going to try the Roger Zelazny method this year, as well. As I understand it, Roger Z would, when approaching a work, take the major characters and write them a scene (not necessarily having to do with the work at all) that gives them an opportunity to pose, choose mannerisms that suit them, emote ... he would treat those scenes as thing that did, in fact, happen to those characters, even if the vignette didn't show up in the work. His feeling was that the fact that the things that are not seen are still felt, and lend depth and vivid color to what would otherwise be bare outline.
