cyrano: (Endicott Two)

Many years ago, back in my days in the kingdom of An Tir, I attended a bardic competition at which an artist named Kay Hilton judged and also graced us with a performance (non-competition). I was quite taken, and bought her cassette, and played the crap out of it.
I am reminded of it now, because one of the things about that album I remember most clearly is a spirited rendition of "The Holly and the Ivy", and having just heard a more churchified version, I wanted to listen to hers. However, I found her website and there's no information about purchasing. It's possible she doesn't do that stuff any more. But I'm going to write her and ask, and in the meantime I thought I'd poke the esoteric collection on my FList and see if maybe somebody out there has her whole collection.

I hope that there was a rule at Madrigal Dinner about singing with your mouth full. And I must say that I also find that breasts inspire me to levels of skill I was unaware that I possessed.

The performers didn't really get to eat. We had to wander the floor and serenade the diners during the actual meal. All we had was the fruit and some bread. Although the bread was fresh.
