I have a friend who has fallen upon Interesting Times, and is looking for a place to stay. If you know of anything, please feel free to pass the word on. Details follow:

Do you know of anyone who has a room available in their house or an apartment or a cottage or a cabin for a rather solitary chick and one or two indoor, shorthair cats?

Moving timeframe: immediate.

Staying there: negotiable. 2-6 months is ideal.

Here's the thing... I can only pay with a credit card, or pay for household items up to the equivalent amount of rent with the credit card.

We have a smallish room we've rented out in the past. The big catch being that there's a bathroom in that room that I need access to at night, but a curtain could be put easily enough.

It would take a little juggling, but something could be worked out if she's open to living in Oakland.
