I'll send an SOS to the world
Jun. 24th, 2002 07:07 pmGot my announcement on testing for USPS in the mail today--test is on the seventeenth in San Francisco. Anybody going to be in the neighborhood and want to have lunch that day? (: (228 Harrison)
Crap. Just found out that carriers require two years of good driving history, which at least lessens the pressure to get the license resolved in the next two weeks. Which is good, because I'm starting to get stressed already.
Found out today that a friend briefly lost her car because of out of state plates. And the week before, another friend lost his truck for the same reason. The war against terrorism marches on. (:
No tai chi today--I blame Kenneth Branagh.
Also, today I got an email that an anonymous person had submitted my email address to a crush-database. Here's a note, folks. That's not going to work on me. I'm immediately suspicious of this site's ulterior motives, and I'm not going to feed them my friends' email addresses to find out who the sneaky person is.
If somebody actually has a crush on me, which I find a dubious prospect at best, they should send mail directly to me (through a brand new yahoo address or something, to maintain anonymity). I promise to be pleasantly delighted.
I got a package in the mail from my much-missed dance partner, Luana (who is the coolest person in the world, for those who are uninformed); she sent me a copy of this album she'd heard, been fond of, and had thought of me because of. Looking forward to hearing it. (:
