Re-Taking of Pelham 123

I admit, it's been long enough that I don't remember much of the original, but I think the opening title sequence is a shout out. This was an exciting movie. The dialogue was scene chewy and often made me laugh.* There aren't a whole lot of big surprises, but it wasn't predictable. There was moral complexity, at least a little, and a minimum of plot holes. Totally worth my $6, especially given that my cinematic experience consisted of half a dozen other people in the theater.

That's a five wag scale. But it's also non-arithmetic. Twenty percent of the films I see do not get a '5'. It's probably more like a bell curve. (Plus, I'm a snob.)
