Don't blame the sweet and tender hooligan

Okay. So. This weekend was my first NERO two-day event. Very busy. Very hot and dusty and full of mosquitos. But a lot of fun too. I think I slept about six hours, all told, maybe eight. We drove up on Friday, through the treacherous hwy236 approach, and finally found the place without actually getting lost once. We were both glad we had brought Mei's car and that she was driving. (Thank you, Mei.)
This site is nice but it made me miss living in the rain forest. If that much ground had drifted into one place back home it would have had stuff growing in it. It would not have coated my boots, my glasses, my eyeballs, my immortal soul.
I brought in Trey, my first NPC, the first night and Marko (the new NPC) the second. I also played monsters who got killed a lot, hung out with lots of cool people I knew, and met lots of cool new people. I bought an NPC named Karen a new collar, and helped out Mallen and Tersa a lot in the kitchen because they are godlike and fed us.
There are a good handful of suggestions I've got, and sooner or later I'll submit them as well as a report of what my NPCs did this weekend to the Plot Masters.
Sunday I went home and at about two decided to take a nap. At midnight I woke up, and discovered I had an interview with SkyWest in about nine hours. Princess Mei was again wonderful and volunteered to drive in rush hour traffic on 101, and Lucianus volunteered to save her so she didn't have to pay for her kindness with her entire day's free time.
There was lots of paperwork, fingerprinting (four sets of them) and piss testing. In two weeks the FBI and the lab will report if I'm worthy of being hired or not, and soon I should know if I'm hirable.
I think I've covered everything, but if not then I'll report on it later. Now it's bed time.
