Vienna Calling! Hello!

Tonight I got a quick call from Cam after he logged off, which was terribly sweet of him especially seeing as we don't see each other that much online and I'm fairly certain I'm not his type and it can't have been the cheapest phone call in the world.
We caught each other up a bit, and I started to feel a touch more comfortable about my life and began to believe that the recent direction is not a fluke and this whole blackened mess might scrape off into a fine enough piece of toast.
Life is still overwhelming, and very stressful. But it's a more productive stress rather than just flailing desperately and hoping to keep my head above water.
Furry little paws all crossed for good luck.
EDIT: The most wonderful housemate in the world bought me a magazine tonight! A FERRET magazine! And they're all so cute, and and and and....

Oh, hey, it was nothing. I'm glad we got to talk and I gotta hear more about this promising jobfoo stuff sometime. :) Sorry I had to scoot early. Brother needed picking up from school.
Nice to see you feeling better. It's good to be actually doing something, isn't it?

I'll have to call again sometime. Meantimes, have a blast at the new place - especially with all that s/training stuff they're going to be doing in the next couple weeks. Just remember that at the end of the day, all you can really do is laaaaaugh. :)
