Quick question for those who know this sort of thing--the third son of the Earl of Kent would be nobility of a sort. Would he have a title? Lord Something-Something?

Lord Narfumwhatbrainlumpfordsomethingshire!

(Not helpful, I know. But I had to go for the P&tB reference.)

As a Colonial, you would not be expected to know of Debrett's. Perfectly understandable.

( Also, wow, they're online now. Used to be a big-ass book in the reference section )

It's true, but I did eventually find it. (:
The proper form of address is Mister Reginald Howard. (I actually found an Earl of Suffolk in the right time frame with three sons, although it took a little bit of poking around.)
