This town is coming like a ghost town

Today I went to the HomeyPlex to catch ZombieLand. I had the entire cinema to myself and IT WAS FRICKIN' AWESOME. I need my own screening room, like Bill Murray has, so I can watch Titanic. I think Jesse Eisenberg is primed to become the next Michael Cera, and I loved the rules. Especially when they were floating, all 'Fringe' like, on the screen. Woody Harrelson has a handle on a kinder, gentler Natural Born Killer. And both Wichita and Little Rock (Little Rock. That's adorable.) were excellent canny post-apocalyptic survivors.

Until the ending. Yes, it bugged me a lot that up until now these people had been smart and cunning and probably deserved to survive. And then, in the interest of plot, they left their brains in Bill Murray's living room. Plus, I know they were probably trying to say "Everybody needs somebody and no man is an island" and stuff, but it really felt like what they were saying was "Girls, don't be independent because then you'll get your silly self into trouble and some man will have to come rescue you".

Definitely worth the matinee price. Coyote says four wags. PS: How is it that I have no zombie icons? I'll have to make do with one that says "brains".

Agreed. The gals were canny enough to trick the guys not once, but twice, and yet were dumb enough not to think that lighting up the amusement park would act as a dinner bell to every zomb in CA? I think not.

And my first thought was "Seriously? Your initial recon of the grounds is at night, when you're at your least effective? Oh wait. You're not even *doing* recon. You're just going to climb on the rides and eat candy floss."

*nods* Yeap. And why, after they'd basically proven themselves to be loyal companions (and strong shooters) would you possibly abandon the guys? If nothing else, they could be good cannon fodder while you drove the hell away.
