I keep forgetting.
Those of you who are interested in buying discount tickets to NorFair in Gilroy, the order is being placed this Friday. Tickets are $13.95 each, which I am told is $5 less than the gate fee, and tickets should be good any day.

Dueling RenFaires.
Since I've been hearing for years how NorCal's parent company has been screwing over vendors and therefore passing the screwing on to us, and with the new screwing I've heard about being introduced this year to the performers (not being paid at all), I'm all for supporting any competing Faire that is local and will give me better prices. Date: 2002-08-13 04:49 pm (UTC)Warhorse productions won't be there.
Vendors won't be there.
Entertainers are not going. As I have heard from some of them 'We get paid to perform. We don't PAY to perform. Therefore, we are not going to Northern.'
I'm going to Marin faire, if it actually goes.
Recfair needs to die in a tiny tiny trash compactor filled with spikes.
If Marin doesn't go, I will probably hopefully go to Folsom Faire in October.
