Further lessons
Nov. 25th, 2009 02:48 pmSo the admissions department was wonderful and expedited the processing of my transcripts before I had to register for classes.
However, in order to get a counselor to sit down and decipher it and tell me what I need to sign up for, I will have to wait until sometime in mid-January.

Date: 2009-11-26 12:06 am (UTC)You can find the DeAnza GE requirements here:

They take nearly anything for english comp; I actually got out of that by submitting my AP test scors.
For further planning, here are the SJSU requirments:
http://info.sjsu.edu/web-dbgen/artic/all-ge.html
There's a pdf on that page that has the GE requirements, and then you can click on DeAnza to see what courses fill what.
One thing you *will* have to take is a California Government class(second page of the SJSU pdf, area F). You will probably almost certainly have to take Speech. So you might as well sign up for those now. Otherwise, look at your AP tests (if you have any) and at your college transcript and see if there is anything even vaguely close. Concentrate on those classes that don't even match vaguely.
