Top of the Pops!
Dec. 4th, 2009 10:35 amI don't recall why I stopped doing Top of the Pops. I probably just forgot one week, then the next week, then...
Anyway. Since all I've been listening to recently has been the eighties playlist, I bring you
Top of the Pops, Retro Style
1. Consolidated (Adorno Strength Mix) -- Consolidated
(Much like NIN, this is a band that was releasing music in the eighties despite my associating them with KBVR and the nineties. This is neither law, religion, philosophy, or fashion.)
2. Catholic School Girls Rule -- Red Hot Chili Peppers
(Before they got all lame and "Under the Bridged".)
3. I Held Her in My Arms -- The Violent Femmes
(I have no parenthetical for this.)
4. Motorcycle -- Love and Rockets
5. Instrumental -- Tones on Tail
6. Bad -- U2
7. Poor Girl -- X
8. Nothing's Gonna Change My Clothes -- They Might Be Giants
9. Mad World -- Tears for Fears
(Not the Gary Jules cover.)
10. Why Look for the Key? -- Howard Jones
Thank you, and don't forget to tip your DJ. He's working on club mixes next.
