The Dawn before the Mass for the Christ

Yay: I found a Portuguese restaurant in Little Portugal. Anne and I went to Sousa's yesterday and it was frickin' awesome. She had pulvo, an octopus stew that was really nicely done, and I had something I forgot the name of with marinated pork and potatoes and two jaunty slices of orange (and of course olives). My mouth is very happy. A bit spendy for every day but a trip to look forward to.

Boo: I still cannot find my razor. Grizzly Adams.

Yay: Do you like water you can drink without (ironically) dying of dehydration? My friend Clay asked me to pass on word of an organisation that is looking to make certain this happens more often. A Single Drop is sending testing kits to Africa, but they can't do it without money. Or, if you're feeling a lack of money, they can't do it without other people knowing about it. Helping others would be an excellent way to get some Christmas spirit.

Yay-ish: Penn State sent me mail. Unfortunately, it's just them asking me to fill out a form which has all the information I've already given them. (Except for my veteran status and ethnic origincy.)

Yay: I got to see friends yesterday, I shall see friends today, and again tomorrow.

Yay-ish: Weird West and cowboys on New Year's Day. I'm so totally not ready.
