Woo Hoo!
It looks like Wild Zero (starring Guitar Wolf) and SARS Wars (Bangkok Zombie Crisis) are both on their way to my house from Netflix. I'm thinking of a double feature, or maybe even a triple feature with my copy of Versus.
This would be awesome, and I've been waiting years to do it. No details yet, mostly because I haven't thought any more about specifics.

Unrelated: here's that picture I took of my classroom, but it's way overlit and didn't turn out at all like I wanted. I would have loved more detail on the clock, and the moulding around the window/doors.
(Further update: Good lord, it's friggin' HUGE.)

That is weird--it shouldn't be a link. There should just be a honkin' great photo under the cut.

Hrm. Either my computer is being coy or yours recoiled in horror and shielded its eyes. I'll see about another method.

Okay, this should work. Also? Much more manageable size.

No pic for me, either. Looks like you are linking directly to google mail, which probably doesn't work for anyone not you.

Looks like that's exactly what happened. New method has also created an image less than seven computer monitors' size.

Oh gods. Wild Zero is a hoot! Just don't play it with the drinking game cues, unless you intend to get thoroughly soused. I cheated with a soup cup.

I love Wild Zero. I want to make a Wild Zero computer game. I described it to a friend as 'What if the Ramones were Japanese and made a movie about helping their best friend fight zombies and aliens and find love'.
(And I don't think that replacing a shot glass with a soup cup will help...)

Well, sipping on ::pauses, shrugs:: something tomato-based and otherwise unremarkable kept me from getting completely shitefaced within the first half-hour, unlike the other people at the movie party. The result is that I probably remember a hell of a lot more about Wild Zero than anyone else who was in the room. :D

Also, you have indirectly reminded me that I need to add Guitar Wolf and the Ramones to my "Subversive Music to Road-Trip By" CDs. Billy Idol and Swollen Members are a satisfying antidote for most of, say, Nebraska, but Omaha needs the aural equivalent of crystal meth to make it tolerable. I'm not planning on doing another serious driving expedition at any point in the near future, but I like to be prepared, and I consider good driving music to be as necessary as a well-equipped jump bag.
