I have, literally, hundreds of dollars of store credit at BookBuyers.
Do you want to buy some of it off of me, pennies on the dollar? (Well, maybe like fifty pennies or something. But honestly, I'm not likely to use it before I leave.)

Since you are in theory able to accept cash instead of credit when you trade-in, have you asked them if you can convert your credits since you are moving? Worth a phone call at least.
