So over the past year or two, my body has gotten its own internal wake up call. Even if the alarm wasn't set, I would generally wake up at eight. This, in and of itself, is not unusual. Lots of people do this.

Mine resets for time zone changes faster than my laptop.

You're not alone; especially noteworthy was when mine did that my first morning in Thailand, even after traveling ~25 hours the day before and not falling into bed until 2am local time. And *still* I woke up at 7am raring to go. Aside from the gazillion time zones crossed, I'd even crossed the international date line, so how the #(*# did my body know? Strange, indeed!

Also, I'm sorry I didn't get to see you again before you left! Just as I feared, time ran away from me. :( But I guess that just gives you one more reason to come back here and/or me one more reason to traverse the country again.

You would be totally worth the trip.
It may be for the best--if we'd spent an evening together, you might have decided that you had to follow me out, and that would have been a pretty rash decision. I don't know if I want that on my conscience.
