However, it's air conditioned where I work, at least.
And I really like the commute on a Federal holiday--I got to go 65mph on 280 yesterday! (I even slowed down to 60 once...) There were Bach and Mozart and Vivaldi and Worlock on the radio, and the scenery involved trees and a lake.
And I came home and my housemate had prepared a lovely dinner and lovely company.
Today I should get some kind of regular schedule at work (it'll actually start on Friday) which will be nice. Hopefully I'll also get my uniform clothes I ordered. Oh, and I think I'll be going to training in SLC on or around 6 October. Anybody know of cool clubs or things to do while there? (I've already been to Temple Square.)

Date: 2002-09-03 12:26 pm (UTC)I lived in SLC for 18 years, and I suspect that what I enjoy about it and what a visitor enjoys will be widely divergent. Bricks has a couple of good dance nights (or had, last I was there). Club Axis is big and loud and...well, big. Club Blue is SLC's only gay leather bar (my baby's growing up, I'm so proud). The Gateway is new, and fun to walk around (everything is fantastically overpriced though, and can usually be had more cheaply elsewhere in the valley). If they give you a car, consider driving to Park City. The scenery in early October is heartbreakingly lovely.
