So hey. Here's an update on that case with the two seniors in Sonoma County.
I've checked a couple of sources, and so far the domestic violence concern looks possible. This would make a lot more sense to me than the original case.

Even if there was domestic violence going on, due process should have been involved and they had no right to get rid of his stuff.

I don't think anybody's been forgiven here. There's no absolution. However, I think that if this is the case, it paints a more complete picture of what was going on.
