I'm glad I didn't go through a lot of effort to avoid being spoiled on the nail-biting overtime victory last night that put the Sharks up 3-0 in the series against the Red Wings.
Because the DVR decided, instead of watching three and a half hours of the Sharks game (bumped an extra half hour in case of overtime), it was going to watch a random thirteen minutes of the Pittsburgh game.

If I got to guarantee the Sharks would win the series, I'd say Game 5. :) But as I kind of view Detroit like a rabid dog and Round 2 like the bane of my existence, putting them down ASAP would make me pretty happy. Also, it'd mean I'd get the money I paid in for Game 5 as a credit (+++ money back)
As much as the idea of Detroit winning one and threatening to make a series of it gives me hives, I'm also worried about the Sharks winning it and having too much time off before Round 3. They're a day ahead of the other Western Semi (VAN vs. CHI), with that series already guaranteed to go to 5 games. If the Sharks win it tomorrow (eep!), they won't have an opponent until at least Sunday night--which is already 3 days off--and quite possibly not until next Thursday--an entire week off.
Some rest is good. That much rest, at least historically for both the Sharks in the playoffs, is frequently bad, at least going into Game 1. And that's all they need, is to go down a game at home again. :P
