We all want a love bazaar

I'm playing a web browser game called Echo Bazaar. You get a certain number of turns per day, and a pool that refreshes over time. So it's a lot like a web browser game. You can do social things with friends, but it seems far too many of them end up being "you and I each use one of our turns, I take a point of bad thing and give it to you".

The premise is that at some point during the reign of Good Queen Victoria, five million demonic bats descended upon London and carried it off into the Abyss. You are one of the stalwart souls caught in the transition. Which was enough to get me started playing.

And pretty much the only thing I'm playing it for is the atmosphere and the flavour text, like this:
There are things that people do. Often to each other. Particular things. Things that other people pretend not to want to know about, but probably do. These things are observed, and notes are made.

EDIT: Oh yeah. You need a Twitter account to play. The only reason for the mandatory twit is that there's some sort of business relationship between failbetter games and Twitter.

"Even if"?
The Asylum is one of the fun places. And if your Scandal gets too high, you get to live in the Tomb Colonies. I haven't found out yet what happens if I get too many wounds though.

I have heard that if you get too many wounds, you go to the Land of the Dead. Might not be called exactly that, but you get the gist. You can come back from death tho. :)
