N'aw. Although I don't think I know that particular Billy Joel song. :)

BTW, obsessing over Dragon Age the way I am, I miss you muchly. I was struck by the urge to inflict it on you. You guys have an Xbox360, right?

Um. I think Jake has an XBox Live in his room. There's... a Wii downstairs, and a PSIII I think. And I have a PSII in my room. If you want to pass it on, I can check into the status of the game machines.

I am a slow-ass person to respond.

If you have a publically-accessible PS3, then that might be the best choice. I don't know if there's a Wii version. Or, wait--how's your current desktop PC in terms of a game machine? That may work.

And to reply to your email that I haven't read but I think I know what it is from the subject line...I did finally get the birthday present, a few days after you asked about it. And I read it and loved it (and laughed out loud several times), so thank you for that. :)

We got your mail to the house yesterday. I LOL'ed when I saw it...we never did get there, did we. Heh. :) I suppose this means I should try harder to find my gift certificate buried in my room...somewhere.

Still miss you, but I hope you're okay with life out there in MI.

Yay! I was beginning to get a little worried, but I'm glad you got the book and I'm very glad you liked it and didn't already have it. (:
Make Arnold find your gift card. He probably lost it, after all. And if he can't find it, $50 will still put a big dent in the tab.
Um. My current PC will run City of Heroes, so long as there aren't too many things happening at once, and if I've turned off iTunes and FireFox. Is that a useful report?

Here, this is easier. The hardware requirements are listed on the right hand side of the FAQ, about midway down. There are XP and Vista minimum requirements, and a recommended configuration.

Let me know if your computer hits at least the minimum?

I know a lot of Billy Joel, but oddly, not that one.

It was The Cars song I was referring to when I called for more enunciation. ("Dance all night, keep the beat; don't you worry about toutes les filles—shake it up!" Different song, same principle.)

It's on Turnstiles, and it's vaguely calypso.

I'm not certain it's the enunciation so much as that it needs a visit from the context fairy. Kind of like REM's Swan Swan Hummingbird.
...Or pretty much anything by REM.

Yes, clearly I should pay more attention to your journal, because by the time I saw your challenge, the lyrics I knew had already been guessed by others. (I knew 2, 5, 18 and 10). But I was too late. Darn. I coulda been a contender.

How can I deny a fabulous outfit like that?
I'll just have to do this again sometime. (:
