Quick review of How to Train Your Dragon
May. 23rd, 2010 07:42 pmPredictable and still good. Three wags.
Jay Baruchel definitely improves on his performance in "Nick and Nora". I laughed when I found out that the uberaryan Astrid was voiced by America Ferrara. I really ought to have recognised C-Ferg, and the credits listed David Tennant, but I'm not seeing anything in imdb to confirm so maybe I misread or something.
The animation is nicely done, and the dragons are adorable. But there are no surprises here, so just sit back and let it follow the beaten path.
