Don't know why I'm such a nice guy
Sep. 28th, 2002 07:01 amNothing really exciting happening. Thursday at work was a taste of things to come--the day went pleasantly enough until about noon when one delayed flight spun into an unpleasant domino of delays cancellations and scrambling and craziness. I imagine I'll get used to it in time. Then there was gaming at which I stayed up far too late. (This happens when gaming starts at about the time you regularly go to bed.) But it was fun and I got to say 'they have a cave troll'.
Friday, to the costume shop. Business is starting to pick up. Mary and Dave came by to browse, but Cari did not. Then I met Stuart for lunch with yummy food and pleasant staff, and then we went home and watched television. The first half of Firefly was very pleasing. I liked the dialogue. I like the music. I like the bar window that doesn't break when you throw somebody through it. Then I did some stuff for the D&D game until Mei came over and started teaching some of us FLtD geeks how to be generals. Alas, I missed the end. But I'll learn.
And now, off to work.
