I listened to one of the mix discs I made for l2g which turned out cooler than I remembered it. Which was nice because it distracted me from how I felt like work had fucked me over again by changing my schedule for the out-of-town classes. However, I called Debbie and she took it very well. Like she always does. However, they changed me back from SLC to Los Angeles, so that much at least is nice.
And then I discovered that, when I'd added the oil on Saturday (I remembered to do so before it went dry, yay me.) I'd failed to screw the oil cap down tightly and so when I got home from work today there was a funny brown streak up the bonnet of the car and on the windshield. This was the outward sign of smoking oil all over the innards of the poor car. Augh. Augh.
Um. I guess that's all. I have to get the oil cap replaced and wash out the car.

Things change constantly--flights cancel or delay, passengers change their itinerary, weather re-routes planes, and until the last minute nobody's really sure of anything and everybody (except me, it seems) is prepared to switch plans at the drop of a hat.
