Not gonna pay rent
Oct. 4th, 2002 03:32 pmWaugh. So tomorrow UCBerkeley is having a couple of really big really cool sales. The geography department is dumping a whole bunch of old maps. I love maps. Maps are cool. Maps are a piece of history, but with *pictures*.
The library is selling off a load of old books. I love books. Books are cool. Books are like a piece of history, but with *words*.
However, I'm going to be a well behaved person with no spending money and I'm going to go to work and then come home and pack.
So far I'm enjoying the new Gilmore Girls (no surprise) Firefly and John Doe. There's a lot of tv I seem to be watching for a guy who goes to bed before prime time.
Um. I thought there was something else I was going to say but I can't remember what it was.
Oh! Rent. I won't be going, but I got a mailing for a performance at the Orpheum 19 Nov-1 Dec and telling me that I can get $20 off up to eight tickets on a handful of pre-selected dates. So if people are interested, they should talk to me.
