Musical Interlude, West Coast edition

The Gypsy Nomads, folky band from the Neo-Victoriana convention I went to here in Detroit, will be performing at the Can Can in Seattle on Thursday, and then at the End of the Universe in Portland on Wednesday the 28th. I don't think I know anybody in Eugene any more, but they do because they'll be at Faerieworlds on the weekend of the thirtieth.

Yes, Kansas is particularly silly this time of year, when they do uncivilized things like have heat indexes above 100 degrees. (Jeremy had not heard of a heat index prior to his visit to Kansas. I guess they didn't have them when he lived in Stockton.)

Yik. I have to say, one of the loses of Michigan is the high humidity plus hotness. It's one of the reasons I go outside and dance every time it rains.
