Having fought with the house network and Windows7 for long enough to drive the bloodlust to pressure levels where blood is spurting from my eyeballs, I feel I'm prepared to discuss politics.
Today I found out that Michigan doesn't produce a Voter's Guide like I got before each election back home, and so I was hoping for some advice on where people go to find out what's on the ballot, what those ballot measures mean in practical terms, who supports them and why, who opposes them and why.... that sort of thing.
I am looking pointedly at Nuadha Prime and hrhqod1 when I say this. You lefties.

I have nothing to contribute.

Date: 2010-07-29 03:11 am (UTC)I had a chance to converse with one of our local state rep candidates for the Democratic primary and was pleased to find he was a lot more left than most Democrats and seems to be a pretty stand-up guy as well. He has some good ideas, so he gave me a reason to make sure and vote in this primary.
