Interesting stuff re: coffee. The second two were mostly stuff I knew/had thought over already, but the first one was pretty new to me - I'd had no idea that coffee drinking was on the decline in the 70s and early 80s. (Of course, my only real basis of experience at the time was my parents, and my mother was a coffee drinker as long as I could remember; probably has something to do with her chosen profession. God knows I wouldn't want to try law school without the stuff.) It really is amazing how much of our social and cultural identity stems, in one form or another, from this or that clever piece of marketing...

I wrote in my journal. I don't know when it will happen again but I made a stab at it. Asking a question made it easier for me. My daily stuff would be so boring that it would be like taking a sleeping pill.
