So I ask for an unsubsidized Stafford loan at the beginning of the school year for the entire year. And they start charging me interest right away. *However*. The school doesn't give me all the money right away, they hold on to it and disperse it in payments.
Hrm.

Really? I thought interest on all Stafford loans was delayed while you are in school. That sucks.

This may be new, but the unsubsidized loans start accruing interest immediately. You still don't have to pay it back while you're still in school, *but*.
If you're going to charge me interest on a loan, I think it's only fair that you GIVE ME THE MONEY.
