Dragon Age--Brick Wall. Head.
Aug. 17th, 2010 12:41 amI spent the last two days wrestling with my computer, trying to figure out why it refused to run City of Heroes and Dragon Age, along with a few other hinky things. My eyes bled, my head throbbed, but I appear to have worked out most of the kinks now. How slow is downloadable content supposed to load? When the download doesn't fail, it takes hours for me.
Anyway.
Tonight we crashed Soldiers' Peak. I liked the atmosphere, very creepy, with the green spirit things flying around. And I had to ponder Sophia's offer, until I saw the option to make her close the Veil first. I have to admit that the end was kind of anticlimactic. "Hey! You can keep doing your weird experiments, but you have to stop kidnapping and torturing human beings!" "Oh. Well pooh. Okay, fine." And then Sophia went down like an express elevator.
I was surprised that Levi never turned coat on us--I figured he was possessed or had some sort of ulterior motive for luring us into the keep where he could bushwhack us. I kept waiting for that moment, but it never came.
OH PS: It took me a while to figure out that the undead clerics were constantly healing the demon in the Veil room. That was kind of cool.

Date: 2010-08-18 02:31 am (UTC)Did you not get the bit of revelation that Avernus or Sophia (I forget which) had bespelled Levi to give him the route through the caverns to get to Soldier's Peak in order to get him there to get them out?
So, what'd you think of the history bits, and the way they told that story through the ghosts? :)
