Going in the Right Direction

Stupid Reason #37 I'm hesitant to get lasik: What would I do with my hands? Approximately 43% of my body language revolves around adjusting my glasses. I tried to adjust my glasses this morning *getting out of the shower*.

Reason #412 Things Will Probably Be Okay: There was a light mist hanging off the ground this morning, turned golden by the early morning sun. It wasn't quite cold enough to see my breath yet, but it hinted that it would be soon. The lawn was a dazzling carpet of dew glowing with that same reflected sunlight. Robert Randolph was in the car, thanks to iTrip. I don't have a test today. And tomorrow I'm getting on a plane for California.

The few times I was without glasses or wearing contacts I inevitably found my hands sneaking up to my face to fiddle with my (non-existent) glasses. What I would do to stop myself looking foolish is tuck my hair back behind my ears that way it would look like thats what I meant to do all along.

The nice thing is that, currently, another 38% of my body language consists of mucking about with my hair, so it doesn't look awkward at all.

Yeah it worked for me until I started shaving my head and then it just looked like I was obsessed with touching my own face. But really why shouldn't I be, it is a very nice face.
