There are some shots of the National Cathedral but they're on a camera and so I haven't pulled them down yet. (Yay for camera instead of crappy cel phone snaps!)



This is the very stern statue of Daniel Webster who stared disappointedly at our hotel the entire weekend. I'm not certain what we did, but we were very very sorry.




In front of the National Archives building (which I am going to have to go back and visit on a non-rally day) is this statue, with the caption "What's Past is Prologue". And I'm a sucker for any Shakespeare in public, so....

This is why Voodoo Doughnuts has the reputation that it does. Yes, those are actual Froot Loops, minimarshmallows, mini M&Ms, and Dubbl Bubbl gum.
