California, here I come

I don't remember if I mentioned it here or not, because I kept meaning to and then not doing so, but in two weeks I expect to be west coast bound in a little over two weeks. For the locals, this means that if you'd like to see me besides checking out my FaceBook photos, you'll get that chance soon.

In other news, today was the second day of snow. More swirly drifty flakes lazily floating to the ground. It's like somebody opened a box of Frosted Flakes and scattered them all over everything. I tried to take a picture but the camera didn't see anything in the air. Disappoint. Anyway. I'm trying to enjoy it now, because once it starts sticking, or melting and then freezing, it'll get old pretty quickly.

I'll be around from... the eighteenth to the twenty-eighth, and I know that I'll have a lot of free time during the day. If we need an emergency plan, we could easily see about lunch some day.

I believe there are such plans for that weekend, and if perhaps there were a couple of extra seats in your carriage, that would not go amiss.

Just checking in--if we make it to DF, we'll probably go early and not stay more than a couple of hours, and since I'm getting in on the eighteenth then we'd go on the nineteenth.
