On my way out the door to work, and won't be back until around bedtime. So just a quick post. Got to open presents and eat pizza with Tersa last night. Amused--Amy and Jorge bought me the first Moulin Rouge soundtrack (hope your package has arrived by now) and Mom got me the second one. And I know they didn't collaborate.
Mom also sent me one of the crystals from our chandelier that used to hang in the dining room at the Oregon house. I want to find a way to display my crystals, someplace where light will eventually strike them and the cat won't use them to shatter all the windows.
Tersa got me a new mouse (because I'm too much of a lazy ass to get one for myself), but Change Bad! First I couldn't get the mouse to respond. Then I unseated the video card. And then the net connection died. And now the computer keeps freezing up, badly enough that I have to unplug the computer from the socket because even the power button is frozen.
I meant to call 9thmoon last night but I was wrapped up in trying to make the computer behave so maybe I'll try it today while I'm calling other people.
