In that sleep, what dreams may come

Interesting boring dream. Apparently I was one of those daring pulp explorers who goes beyond the bounds of civilisation--specifically the upper Nile, because I'd found a secret temple to some sort of Aegyptian deity called the Snow Miser. And there's a curse associated with it, of course. Since it's a secret, anybody who reveals its location gets the full brunt of it.

But it's not lethal. It's really more petty. You just get uncomfortably warm, as the Snow Miser takes back all his cold.

So. I dreamed that I spent several hours lying in my bed, (my actual bed, not a fancy sumptuous dream bed somewhere) with the covers kicked off, thinking "It's bloody *hot* in here."

I'd considered raising Nightmares, but there's nothing really nightmarish going on. It's just tedious, which was why I went out of my way to say that it didn't change, rather than just not saying anything.

Yeah, I got that, but the game doesn't make any note when things stay the same. And it's still a nightmare. Sort of. :)
